Beginners guide to Fiverr - Goal £500 ($650) a month

Etsy shop online and all summer I'm looking to do my own website at rude - cards comma rude - cards calm which is a range of offensive greeting cards and gifts however that's not gonna pay the bills it's not like a roof over my head and it's not gonna put food in my children's mouths so I'm looking at other ways that I can make some sort of income in the interim until the Etsy and website sales start to pick up having said that I am about three and a half four thousand views on my Etsy shop and also what about about eleven or twelve orders not a huge amount it's for about thirty pounds I've made but it's all in the kitty so this videos can walk you through how I found different ways to make money on Fiverr calm my experiences and also as well the current night gigs I've got up online so let's jump straight into so what exactly is fibre calm it's an online global marketplace for freelancers but what does that mean it means that anybody anywhere in the world can upload what they classed as a gig promoting a service that they want to provide now that service could range from business administration so data input writing a presentation it could range to music and audio a voiceover even creating a royalty-free piece of music for you it could run through to marketing that's SEO social media campaigns and all the way through to programming tech now that would be something like installing WordPress for you fixing a bug on your PrestaShop or even looking at your Etsy campaign for your your Etsy promoted listings a whole plethora of different gigs that are on there for you so I'll explain a bit about what I've done so far so you can see exactly how you can make money online using fiber so I'm just going to share my screen so you can see exactly what I'm talking about here so this is fiber comm which is the online life place I spoke to you about so you can't join for free have a little look around and you can become a seller which is what we're looking to do here it's completely free to join and to sign up so using your Facebook or Google account or your an email address but if before we do that let's just look at some of the services that people are providing so if we look at video editing obviously that's something that I've done before and it up comes just by clicking that search in there up becomes four thousand six hundred and eighty people or freelancers or fivers people are offering their services so here because I'm in the UK we've got all the prices based in great British pounds pound sterling so ranging from someone here Shirley Curtis who would do something for twenty four twenty seven she's got four point nine out of five and she's at a hundred and four reviews orders for that particular geek so that's not for her that's just for that geek so she may have several other different gigs but just for that one she's got four hundred and four review so that's why it's appearing firstly quite near the top bolt is why you would assume it can be fairly trusted and if we scroll down as well right that's the bottom and rising talent so these are ones that are coming through just have recently joined you've got pro as well so these are people that I've gone through a process of verification it's only one percent of the whole marketplace that actually reach that so you can feel confident that you're going to get the best quality Fiverr gig that you can but clearly you pay for it that's a hundred and twenty-one pounds which is quite expensive really for what what they're offering this video but if you look at the top sections as I spoke to you about earlier you've got all these different sections of products so what I'm going to look at is I'm going to look at what I can offer and mines really product reviews and those sorts of things so if we go down to my Fiverr so this is my fiber page here you'll see my ugly a little face right in the corner here and you'll see here that I've responded to all my inquiries eighty percent response rates and so in the last sixty days I responded to as many as I can although I've had quite an influx of inquiries I've delivered a hundred percent on time I've completed a hundred percent of them and I've got five star ratings for all of my gigs so if you look at my gigs here which is essentially a piece of work in all that middle one because that's a website I own it's just offering links but I've chosen two years so I've done create a British website service or product review so what that is is me just looking at a product could be an Amazon product and it could be a video it could be an e-book it could be an Amazon products and basically doing a video for them just explained to them or given the review of the product and all listed open review so I put that up on the I think on the 14th so we have 5 or 6 days by this point and it's at 311 impressions 17 people have clicked so impressions are the tech number of people actually seen it on the search page so going back to here then have seen my gig here people actually clicked through and looked at it at 17 another five reviews oh sorry five orders so I should I say so that's not a bad conversion rate and what's that over over a quarter so 25 30 % my Master's in gray are actually from their clicking through actually ordering so that's really good news and I know I'd done for that really was sure sorry that's that's the step so I should put it went on to 13th that's about five or six days so that that's quite good and what I'm doing for that is lit show said is just creating a very brief video on someone's product or service I've also put on this second one anything yesterday I think and and what that is is is transcription of a 10 minute English video audio so someone sent a video and audio file and all I do is I'd type it into word for them that was another one I thought it'd be quite easy to do and I've not had much traction there you've seen couple of clicks and a couple but no orders and going back again year that went live a couple of days ago but going back to the mainland which is this British website service or product of you know put British in eggs a help with the search terms but you could put anything any country American you could leave it with the location out completely but then if we look at the earnings this has been up there five days I've had one two three four five orders which isn't a huge amount but that's 12 24 36 40 48 dollars so that's probably around 42 pounds 42 pound a week isn't fantastic but given I've just started I'm not really sure how to optimize my Fiverr this thing how to get up on the search results and I don't that's bad really at all so far that's probably taken me an hour maybe 90 minutes to complete all these so when it says funds pending and clearance that means that's a gig that I've sold and someone else has reviewed it and so these what happens here is the money comes through and on this revenue stats but doesn't actually clear until someone's reviewed it all the person that's purchase reviewed it otherwise it automatically gets reviewed itself or completed I believe after seven days so so really that's a good insight as to how you can make some sort of money on Fiverr comm and now I would obviously encourage you to go online see for something that you could sell potentially and and that could be even just data entry data administration you could show somebody how to do something online like an online tutorial you could help them out if you're particularly good on Excel or word anything really just put it up there it's free to join it's free to put your gig up there all they do is they take a commission out the sale so on this one here these twelve dollar ones that were sold for $15 so I've lost three dollars in the equation which is probably about two pounds 50-odd so it's not a huge amount and and actually what that does mean is that that will actually give me a little bit more money in the kitty every month so I can continue on my Etsy journey and Messala can other geeks otherwise I can start to make money and I'll create video animation so thank you very
